1. Location and number of passages
Entrance mats can be placed inside your establishment, outside or in both zones.
Its location is a criterion to be taken into account, as it will influence your choice. Not all entrance mats are suitable for outdoor use. In fact, if you place an indoor mat outside and your entrance is not sheltered, it runs the risk of absorbing moisture and losing its quality.
For indoors, you'll also need to ensure that the rug has a border if you're laying it on the ground. The border will prevent passers-by from falling. If you have a pit, the mat must be the right size to fit properly into the frame. 3. PMR compliance and standards
Being in compliance with the measures to be put in place to accommodate people with reduced mobility has been an obligation for all ERP since January 2015.
